Ulman of route 5, Decatur. Miss Kleber is a graduate of Bishop Luers high school and is employed at the Lutheran hospital where she has just completed her training as a histologic technician. She is a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority. Mr. Ulman is a graduate of the Decatur Catholic high school and is in the US Army. He is stationed at Fort Knox, Ky. The wedding will take place Saturday, October 24, in the St. Joseph Catholic church at Hessen Cassel.
Sheila Murphy To Be Student At Otterbein College Sheila Murphy, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Francis J. Murphy of 333 North 16th Street, will be a member of the freshman class at Otterbein College, Westerville, Ohio, when classes resume September 17. Freshman Week activities will begin officially with an orientation period starting September 12 and continuing through September 16. Otterbein, a coeducational Evangelical Uni'ed Brethren Churchrelated college of liberal-arts, will begin its 118th year of operation with an anticipated enrollment of 1300 including 430 freshmen, the the largest class in the college’s history.

Miss Jane Eileen Mills, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond A. Mills, 1009 Colonial Court, and John Richard Hunter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Leslier Hunter, 605 Indiana street, were wed in a double ring ceremony at the Zion Lutheran church. Altar vases and candelabra served as a backdrop for Pastor Ludwig to officiate for the evening ceremony. The organ selections included “The Lord’s Prayer,” “O Perfect Love,” and others. Given in marriage by her father, the bride appeared in a gown of pure white nylon rochelle lace over taffeta. The fitted bodice was fashioned wth a scalloped scooped neckline, sprinkled with iridescent sequins, and long tapered sleeves. Lace roses- held the lace pick-ups in the front of tha full floor length skirt. Scalloped lace ruffles circled the skirt and were accented with iridescent sequins. A full chapel length train fell from the back waistine. Her full fingertip veil was held in place by a pearl crown. She carried a bouquet of pink roses and white carnations. Mrs. Fern E. Hart, served as matron of honor. She chose a pink, short sleeved, floor length gown. She wore a matching veil with an organza flower design. She carried

a bouquet of pink roses and pink carnations. Miss Linda Kay Mills was bridesmaid. She was attired in a blue gown identical in style to that of the honor attendant. She wore a matching veil and carried an arrangement of pink roses and blue carnations. Bill Williams served as best man and Tom Hunter was groomsman. Larry Springer and Louis Jones were ushers. Mrs. Mills chose a beige sheath organza dress featuring a lace bodice. Mrs. Hunter wore a light blue, street length dress and a small white veil. A reception was held at the Eagles hall for approximately 100 guests. The Misses Diana Hart, Teresa Archer, Donna Jean Reidenbach and Mrs. Linda, Omlor served at the reception. The bride is a graduate of Decatur high school and is employed at the B & H grill as a waitress. The bridegroom attended Decatur high school and is employed at Bill Zoss body shop. Mrs. Niland Oschenrider will be hostess to the Rose garden club ’’Tuesday at 6 p.m. at a faiffily picnic. Members are reminded to bring gifts for the white elephant sale.

39’ERS HOLD REGULAR MEETING The 39’ers held their regular carry-in dinner meeting at the Youth and Community Center with 26 members and one guest enjoying the evening meal and games following. Mrs. Bert Haley, vice president, presided. Mr. O. K. Baker, the president, was reported improving at the hospital. Mrs. Ehle from Florida, a guest of Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Arnold, was welcomed. Mrs. Henry Neireiter read the minutes of the two previous meetings. The hobby show will be September 13, 2 to 4:30 p.m. at the cener and the chairmen of the various committies are to have the names to Mrs. Neireiter before the next meeting. Mrs. Evelyn Hack and Mrs, Emenhiser will be in charge of the antiques on display, and Mrs. Wiliain Schnepf, refreshments. Anyone wishing to display a hobby exhibit of an antique are asked to contact and 39 er or Mrs. Neireiter at 3-2525, or bring he item to the center Saturday evening at 7:30 p.m., September 12. The next meeting will be August 18 at 6:30 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. James Kitchen invited the 39’ers to their golden aniversary open house at their home at 225 North Ninth stret, Sunday August 23, from 2 to 5 p.m. Owen K. Baker Released From Hospital Owen K. Baker, veteran Decatur printer who suffered a heart attack at his home a week ago Sunday, is to be reelased from Uie Adams county memorial hospital today.

IMO CLASS HOLDS REUNION The 1960 graduating class of Monmouth high school held its second reunion recently at the Hoagland Hayloft with singing and square dancing being enjoyed. A short meeting was led by Lonnie Buuck, vice president, and the following were elected for the next reunion in 1966: Dave Caston, president; Waldo Bultemeier, vice president; Eugene Bulmahn, secretary; and Janeen Linker, treasurer.
