Adams Central Band Wins First Place The Adams Central High School Band received another Ist place award last Saturday in the marching contest held in conjunction with the Grand Finale Parade of the annual Harlen Days Festival. Other bands participating in the Class “A" division of schools with high school enrollment over 250 were: Definance, Ohio, 2nd place: Leo, 3rd place; Woodlan. 4th place, Edgertown, Ohio, sth place; Ossian, 6th place; Edon, Ohio, 6th place. Class "B” division winner was the Antwerp, Qhio High School Band Accompanying the band to Harlen were Darrell Gerig, Band Director. Walter Henkel, Mr. and Mrs. LaVerne Ringger. Mr. and Mrs. John Genth, Mrs. Balsiger, Harry Kerschner, and Howard Nussbaum. - ... The Band’s next appearance will be at the annual Monroe Days Parade to be held on August 19.
