In Clothing

Sandra Bransteter. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bransteter of route 2, Berne, was announced Tuesday ns grand champion ribbon winner In the clothing project at the Adams county 4-H fair. She is a member of the Jefferson Work and Win -4H club. Reserve champion winner was Emalese Striker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Striker and a member of the Wabash Cloverblossom club. The winners in the' clothing competition were selected in judging during the week of July 20-24 at each community in Jhe county. Tlic county premium winners were elected from among the community blue ribbon winners. All first premium winners will be entered in state fair competition with their winning exnibits. Joye Strouse, a second premium winner In division VII and above,will also enter her'exhibit in a class for at the state fair. Handicraft

Betsy Schnepf of the Monmouth Merry Maids 4-H club displayed the grand champion handicraft exhibit, a still life painting, at the Adams county 4-H fair yesterday. Reserve champion winner was Sara Plough of the Kirkland Kut Ups club. Her exhibit was a wooden table center piece. Several of the entrants in this class will be showing their exhibits at the Indiana state fair. They include Melissa Grandlienard of the Hartford Happy Go Lucky club. Jerry Fuelling of the Roving Rangers, and Shelby Wprkinger of the Cloverblossom club in the general crafts. She is a member of the Work and Win 4-H club. Reserve champion winner was Beverly J. Kipfer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Kipfer, of route 4, Bluffton, and a member of the Peppy Peppers 4-H club. Preliminary judging, at the community level, was done in this class from July 20 to 24. Com-munity-level blue ribbon winners were review:ed to select the county premium winners.
