NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS To the taxpayers of Adams Central Community School Corp., Adams County, State of Indiana. You are hereby notified that on the 9th day of June, 1964, the Board of School Trustees of Adams Central Community School Corp., Adams County, State of Indiana, pursuant to notice heretofore given, and under and by virtue of Chapter 57, Acts of 1945. as amended, duly adopted a plan whereby a Cumulative Building Fund, was established to provide for The following: For the erection, construction, purchase and remodeling of school building for class room purposes, purchase of real estate and equipment for new school buildings for class room purposes, and the payment of rentals for renting or leasing of real taew-school buildings for class room purposes, for the acquisition of land to be used as a street, road, sidewalk or . means of ingress or egress, for the improvement of any land so acquired, for the improvement or construction of any street, road sidewalk or means of ingress or egress to any property used for school purposes and for the installation of a water supply system both on and off property. ’ Such fund to be provided for by a tax levy of ’ Fifty Cents <s.sO) on each one hundred dollars ($10000) of taxable real and personal property within said taxing unit, said tax to be levied annuallv beginning in 1964, payable in 1965, and continuing for a total period of Five (5) years, as authorized by said Act. That pursuant to said Act. ten (10) or more taxpayers in said taxing unit, other than those who pay poll tax only, and who will be affected by said tax levy may file a petition with the County Auditor of Adams County, not later than ten (10) days after the publication of this notice, setting forth their objetclons to the proposed levy. Upon filing of said petition, the County Auditor shall immediately certify the same to the State. Board of Tax Commissioners, which Board will subsequently fix a date and conduct a —pubiiv hearing on "said proposed levy before issuing .its. approval or- disapproval thereof.
