In the seventeen year history of the conference this is the first year that the convention has been held ,in San Diego and the first time that the president of the group has been a San Diego county attorney. The association is an organization of trial attorneys who specialize in the trial of cases involving injuries to person. The western regional conference is composed of attorneys from California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming and Utah. McClenahan has practiced law in San Diego since 1952. He was a deputy district attorney here until 1954 and has engaged in a private practice since then. McClenahan is a partner in the firm of Casey, McClenahan & Christensen.
