He will also celebrate a jubilee mass at St. Henry’s church in St. Henry Sunday, and a reception in the church basement will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

I SORORITY FOUNDING — — ■OBSERVED RECENTLY The Decatur chapters of Beta ■ Sigma Phi sorority celebrated the 133rd anniversary of the organizaI tion’s founding April 30 at 7 p. m. 1 A banquet in which the three 10-5 5 cal chapters joined the Fort s Wayne chapters was held at the Hobby Ranch House in Fort Wayne Thirty-three years ago, the first chapter of the sorority was farmed in Abilene, Kansas. There are now 7.500 chapters and 175,000 members in 14 countries. In addition to the banquet, traditional ceremonies were observed. Mrs. Harold Gray, Decatur city council president, led the 300 attending members in reciting the opening ritual. Installation of officers was held and the 1964-65 Decatur chapter officers are: Xi Alpha Xi—president, Mrs. Robert Blaney: vice president, Mrs. Alan Zoss: recording and corresponding secretary, Mrs. Frank Crist; treasurer, Mrs. Martin Weiland; extension officer, Mrs. Carl Gattshall. Miss Judith K. Knisely and Thomas E.- Deßolt were united in marriage May 2 at 11 a.m. at the St. Jude’s Catholic church in Fort Wayne. The Rev. John Gillig performed the ceremony before an altar decorated with pink and white mums and gladiolas. White bows marked the pews. Professor Pyle ■ provided organ music for the ceremony. The bride’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Knisely, 1546 Westgate Drive, Defiance, Ohio, and parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Deßolt, 504 Nuttman avenue. . . Given in marriage by her father, the bride appeared in a ballerina length sheath of bouquet taffeta, styled with a scoop neckline and a detachable full overskirt. Appliqued roses trimmed the neckline and the overskirt. Her silver tipped bouffant illusion veil was caught to a large fabric rose, and she carried a cascade of pink tea roses centered with a white orchid. Miss Florence Dunderman of Antwerp. Ohio, served as maid of honor in a gown of pink chiffon over white lace. She wore white elbow length gloves, pink patent shoes, and a large pink fabric rose headpiece. She carried a bouquet of pink tea roses. Don Lehman stood as best man, and ushers were Richard Deßolt, ■ brother of the groom, and Patil Kohne, brother-in-law of the groom. The wedding breakfast and reception were held at the Van Orman, Northcrest. The bride is a graduate of Defiance high school, and the Parkview school of nursing. The groom graduated from Decatur Catholic high school and St. Joseph's College, Rensselaer and is employed as ah insurance adjuster for State Farm Insurance, Fort Wayne.
