Northwest School Cubs Hold Meeting Cub Scout pack 3063, of the Northwest school, held its monthly meeting in the school gym Mopday evening. Mrs. Tom Schlotterbach’s den opened the meeting, leading the pack in singing “The Star Spangled Banner.” Cubmaster Ralph Smith congratulated those who helped make the Scout-O-Rama a success, and presented the winning plaque and tie sign that was used to Floyd Seed, school principal, to display at the scnool. Smith then introduced the guest speaker, E. E. The summer program planned for the boys will be announced at the next pack meeting May 18. Among activities are a picinic and swimming party. Several parents congratulated the den mothers and the Cubs for doing a nice job for the Scout-O-Rama. Presents Awards Tom Schlotterback, award chairman, presented the following boys with awards for the month: Leroy Hook, bear badge and silver arrow: Alvin Souder, wolf badge and gold arrow; Bob Romero, bobAuto Damaged In Wreck Early Today Two autos were damaged in an accident at 12:30 a. m. today on U. S. 27, four miles north of Decatur. A car driven by Ned Olen Lautzenheiser, 19. of route 2, Decatur, struck the rear of a vehicle operated by Wayne A. Brunner, 26, of 909 Dierkes St., as both were southbound on U. S. 27. A wrecker was pulling another vehicle from the ditch and cars were lined up for about a quarter mile. Brunner stopped in the line, and Lautzenheiser, unable to see the flashing lights some distance ahead, failed to stop in time. Damages were estimated at $l5O to the Brunner car and $125 to Lautzenheiser’s car. Deputy sheriff Harold August investigated. Charges of public intoxication were filed against Robert Glen Carnall, 41-year-old Decatur resident. after his atrto striJck a cCment bridge at 8:30 p. m. Wednesday. Carnall was westbound on Winchester street extended, less than a mile out of the city limits, when his auto struck the cement bridge. He was not .injured but his car suffered an estimated $250 damage. Carnall was released under SSO bond until his court appearance.
