Tuesday tryouts will be for the nine and 11-year old boys, and tryouts for those 10 and 12 years of age will be held Thursday. Both sessions will be held at the diamond in Homestead, beginning at 5 p.m. In the event of wet grounds, the tryouts will be held at the Lincoln school playground. Lake said that all boys who are nine years of age before August 1, and who have not reached their 13th birthday before August 1, 1964, are eligible to play in the local Little League. Application are now out in the five Decatur schools and may be obtained there or at the tryout sessions. Only those boys who were not assigned to a team last year, but are eligible under the age limits, need fill out an application blank. All boys who were assigned to a Little League team last year are automatic members of that team this year, and should pay particular attention to the Daily Democrat as to when their team will practice, Lake explained. May Try Out Lake said it should also be noted that if a boy has already signed for the Wildcat league, he may still try out for the Little League clubs. Since Little League, Inc., rules and regulations permit only 16 boys on each
