Complete Course In Bonk Management Earl M. Caston, assistant vice president, and Arthur J. Heimann, assistant cashier of the First State Bank of Decatur, have successfully completed a course on bank management offered by the Fort Wayne chapter of the American institute of banking. The American institute of banking is the educational division of the American bankers association and is the largest adult educational group in the world. Membership currently is over 180.000, with more than 80,000 enrolled in educational courses. was detailed with a flat bow. The Misses Theresa and Sheryl Bailey served .as flower girls in dresses of blue catton. They wore white accessories. * James Elliott stood as best man. Ken Frank, Don Bailey, and Darrell Deaton of Decatur, and Ron Nicodemus of Fort Wayne served as ushers. Brian Kershner carried the rings. As an ensemble for her daughter's wedding, Mrs. Frank was wearing a blue lace’over taffeta dress. She wore black and white accessories and a corsage of white pompoms. The mother of the groom, Mrs. Racine, chose to wear a beige suit with black acces- _ sories and a corsage of white pom poms. Immediately following the ceremony a reception for 150 guests was held in the fellowship hall of the church. Serving the guests were Miss Judie Caffee of Geneva. Miss Ann Moser of Craigville and Mrs. Carl Elliott, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Charles Frank of route five are the parents of the bride, and the groom’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. Paul Racine, 740 N. 11th street. For a honeymoon in the south, the new Mrs. Bailer chose a blue striped suit with white accessories. The bride, a graduate of Adams Central high school, is employed at CTS, Berne. The groom, who graduated from Decatur high school, is employed at Dunbar Furniture company. Berne. The couple will make their new home at 302 Maple street. Berne.

Dale Myers of route 3, are Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Anderson of 276 E. Mark street, Marion, Ohio. - - Miss Anderson is a graduate of Marion Catholic high school and St. Joseph's school of nursing in Fort Wayne. She is a registered nurse, employed at Marion General hospital. Myers is a graduate of Marion Catholic high school and is attending the University of Detroit. The custom of open church will be observed for the couple’s wedding, June 13, at St. Mary’s Catholic church, Marion, Ohio.

Prayer Breakfast Saturday Morning The men’s prayer breakfast will be held at 6:30 a.m. Saturday at the Decatur Youth and Community Center. Saturday’s speaker will be the Rev. F. P. Miller, pastor of the Bethany Evangelical United Brethren Church, and Rodger Frey, a layman from the Church of the Nazarene. will give his personal testimony. A banquet of the men's prayer breakfast group is planned for the near future. Definite announcement will be made later.

Indianapolis Woman Is Killed By Auto By United Press International The death of an elderly widow on an Indianapolis street Wednesday raised Indiana’s 1964 highway toll to at least 239 compared with 238 on this date last year. Mrs. Ida Schaub, 82, was killed When a car struck her as she walked home from a nearby market. The driver of the car, Mrs. Mary Cox, 28, Indianapolis, was charged with driving without a license.

Speech Class Will Give Play April 10 What happens when three gossioing neighbors decide that another neighbor needs their help? Soon, the whole neighborhood i§ helping out—only to come to a surprising climax. Zona" Gable, a noted playwright, has done an excellent job of combining hilarious comedy with tear-jerking tragedy in her one-act play, "The Neighbors,” which will be presented by the fourth-period speech class of Decatur high sohool next week. The speech class, under the direction of instructor Tony Kelly, will present “The Neighbors,” Friday,- April 10, in the Decatur high school audltoriufn. The performance will begin at 8 p. m. . Tickets on Sale Members of the fourth-ne-iod soeech class are currently selling tickets, priced at 25 cents for students and 50 cents for adults. David Baker is student director and Lynn Sheets will serve as master of ceremonies and technical director. The cast includes Sharon Harden, Karen Daniels, Connie Teeple, Nancy Gerber, Sally Schnepf, Betsy Schnepf, Carmen Lopez, Steve Hazelwood and Tom Macklin. Several rehearsals have already been held, with more scheduled for this week and next in preparation for the April 10 performance. Mrs. Margaret Linn Is Taken By Death Mrs. Margaret Linn, 86, of Berne route 2, died Wednesday morning at the Adams county memorial hospital, where she had been a patient since breaking a hip in a fall two weeks ago. She was born in Mercer county, 0., Sept. 22, 1877, a daughter of John and Caroline BrehmDeitsch. Her husband, Henry Linn, preceded her in death in 1934. Mrs. Linn was a member of St Paul’s United Church of Christ. Surviving are, six sons, Edward H. and Urban Linn of Celina, Andrew C. and William Linn of Coldwater, 0., Valentine of near Rockford, 0., and Paul of Kentland; one daughter, Mrs. Herbert Schaadt of Berne route 2; 13 grandchildren; 38 great-grand-children, and two brothers, Henry _ and Andrew Deitsch of near Celina, O. - Funeral services will be held at 2 o. m. Friday at St. Paul’s United’ Church of Christ, the Rev. Larry K. Macy officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Trinity E. U. B. church was the scene, Saturday evening, of the marriage of Miss Esther Jane Fea sei and Kenneth Lee Kolter. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Charles Feasel, 1116 West Madison street, and Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Kolter of route 2. Rev. Joseph Penrod oficiated for thg double ring ceremony, before an altar decorated with Easter lillies and candelabra. Organist Miss Kay Wynn played organ selections including “Always,” and “Because.” The bride’s twin brother, Ernest, sang --"The ■ Lord’? “Prayer,*’ ’ as tdi e • couple knelt. Escorted to the altar by her father, the bride appeared in a floor length gown of white chiffon with puffed three quarter length sieves. Lace circled the round neckline and sleeves. Her elbow length veil of illusion was caught to a rose petal head piece, and she carried a corsage of orchids on a white Bible. The maid of honor, Miss Joan Kallenberger, appeared in a waltz length dress of peach taffeta. She wore matching shoes and rose petal headpiece, and carried a colonial bouquet of tinted peach carnations. The flower girl, Miss Amy Hutker, was dressed identical to the maid of honor and carried a basket of mums. Kent Girod stood as best mag, and Ernest Feasel and Larry Kaser served as ushers.

The couple will, make their home at 439 Line street. Private Pilot For Governor Welsh Dies INDIANAPOLIS <UPD — Richard Shiers, 43, Indianapolis, private pilot for Governor Welsh since Jan. I, died at Ft. Benjamin Harrison here of a heart attack Wednesday. Shiers was a retired Navy lieutenant - commander and a pilot for 21 years.
