Trailer Court Sale Is Announced Today Announcement was made this morning of the purchase of the Hi-Way trailer court, located on S. 13th St., by Paul and Kathryn Strickler, from Dr. Harold V. and Vivian DeVor. The Stricklers, who returned over the weekend from a show in Kentucky, took possession of the mobile home park January 11. The trailer court has 75 “spots” for trailers and over 300 persons reside in the park. Included in the purchase was the park’s enclosed swimming pool, bomb shelter, laundry and grocery store. Same Operation Strickler, president of the Adams County Trailer Sales, will continue to operate the trailer court as in the past, he said, and will continue its expansion and modernization program. He explained that the purchase will enable him to provide improved service for both his trailer customers and residents of the trailer park. Mr. and Mrs. Strickler also own and operate a mobile home park in Bluffton, which-was built about a year ago. Strickler began in the trailer business in 1939 and is now one of the largest trailer dealers in the state of Indiana. He is vice president of the Indiana Mobile Home Association and is completing his third term on the board of directors. Adams County Trailer Sales recently purchased the Former location of the Gilpin Ommental Iron, on Washington St. Dr. and Mrs. DeVor are currently vacationing and are expected to return about February 11.
