Three Accidents In ?.'• ‘ ' . ' Decatur On Tuesday Three accidents occurred in the city Tuesday, one involving a school bus, but no injuries resulted from any of the three. 'Rie mishap involving the school bus happened at 3:42 p. m., as a truck driven by Melvin M. McCoy, 44, of route 1, New Paris,

’ was unable to come to a complete stop at an icy intersection, and struck the right side of a North Adams school bus. M ' Q - » /■ The truck was northbound on 13th street, and applied the brakes to stop at the red light, but the truck slid into the intersection, and bumped the right side of the bus. eastbound on Monroe street. Damages were estimated at S3OO to the truck and $65 to the bus. No one riding in the bus which was operated by Gale Harvey Nidlinger, 31, route 2, Deca-
tur, was injured. Two autos were damaged in an accident at 3;35 p. m. at the intersection of Nuttman Ave. and 12th street. Helen M. Morgan, 47, of 1624 W. Monroe St., was southbound on 12th, and stopped for a stop sign, before pulling onto Nuttman and into the path of an eastbound vehicle operated by Sherman M. Arnold, 27, of Fort Wayne. Damages were estimated at $l5O to the Morgan auto and SIOO to the Arnold car.
,- Three Involved Two of three vehicles involved in a yt:3l p. m. accident were damaged. The mishap occurred when a car driven by Mary J. Bertsch, 17, route 4, Decatur, pulled from a parking space on the north side of Madison street, in the 600 block. She drove from the parking place in front of a panel truck driven by Albert F. Gillig, 36, of 612 N. Second street. Gillig swerved to avoid hitting the Bertsch car, and the panel truck
crossed the street and hit a parked car on the south side, owned by Richard Buuck, route d, Decatur. Damage to the truck was estimated at $lO and S3O to the Buuck car. The Bertsch vehicle was * hot involved in the collision. Funeral Thursday For Mary Bracht Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Bracht, of Fort Wayne, sister of Mrs. Melvin Johnson of Decatur, who died Monday evening, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the D. O. McComb & Sons funeral home. The Rev. Jack E. Yates will officiate, and buripl will be in Greenlawn memterial park. Friends may call at "the funeral home until time of the services. '< • J —t-
