Lindsey Boy Dies Thursday Evening Dennis Howard Lindsey, 8, son ’to Mr. and Mrs. Amos Lindsey of Berne, died Thursday evening in St. Joseph’s hospital. Fort Wayne. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Hardy & Hardy funeral home in Geneva with burial in Gardens of Memory, near Muncie. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today. Krick-Tyndall Co. Awarded Contract The Krick-Tyndall Co., Decatur, has been awarded a contract by the Portland city council to supply six-foot diameter tile to enclose the Miller branch north of Votaw street. The local sumbitted a, bid of $32,000, and offered a five per cent discount for prompt payment. Berne Freshman Is Member Os Chorale MUNCIE, IND.—Alice Sprunger, Berne freshman, is a member of the Ball State chorale which is performing in the “Barber of Seville” Thursday, Friday and Saturday, December 12, 13 and 11, in the College theater. The Rossini comic opera is being produced by the Ball State opera workshop under the direction of John Campbell, assistant professor of music, with a cast of 10, the 26-member chorale, and the 21-piece opera orchestra.
