Barbershop Singers To Be'Adamizers’ What’s an- Adamizer? As of October 3, he is a member of the Adams county chapter of the Society for Preservation and Encouragement of Barbarshop Quartet Singing in America, according to an announcement today by presi-

dent Ed Ewell. At the regular weekly meeting of the barbershoppers held at the Central Soya union hall Thursday, the group selected “The Adamizers” as the official name of its chorus. Officers for 1964 were elected, with Ed Ewell again chosen as' president of the local chapter. Charles Kester was voted vice president of programs, and Erv Ewell membership vice president. Secretary functions will be handled for 1964 by Eugene Braun, with Bob Baumgartner serving as treasurer. The group also selected November 10, of this year, as the date for its charter show—the first such barbershop parade ever to be held in Decatur. Tickets and further information concerning the show will be available in the near future, according to president Ewell. Ewell said that the group has invited anyone interested in “busting a chord” to attend one of the chapter’s regular rehearsals which are held every Thursday evening in the Soya’s union hall.
