This Week At'.... . Myers Florist SEPT. 3— A new month and a new idea. The idea is to create a "Quaint Old Gift Shop" atmosphere at 903 N. 13th. A new sign and a new red storm door are a beginning. Other ideas include a wishing well, a rail fence, and perhaps an~ Amish buggy. SEPT. 4— New fall napkins are now on display in the "Blue Room.*"- Also very popular now are our fall arrangements which sell as low as $2.00. SEPT. s—Seems like all we get done is rearrange things. Today we're making room for Christmas merchandise which is arriving daily. Might as well put it on display immediately. Although some people think they object to this, one tourist customer purchased Christmas napkins recently. SEPT. 6— Ordered some souvenir stickers today to satisfy the wants of an ever increasing tourist trade. SEPT. 7— Up early today to put finishing touches on wedding flowers for this morning. Know where we can get an old rail fence? SEPT. 9— A comment read today seems worthy of passing on to those who favor the giving of such useful and "gifty" items as dish cloths. "People don't really need these things. All that people really need is a cave, a piece of meat, and possibly, a fire."
