Potted palms, white candelabra, and vases of white gladioluses adorned the altar of the Trinity Evangelical United Brethren church Saturday evening for the double ring wedding ceremony of Nancy Sue Reynolds and Larry Herbert Fravel. The Rev. J. O. Penrod read the sacked vows. The parents of the ■couple are Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Reynolds, 113 South Ninth street, and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Fravel, 334 South Fifth street. The wedding music was provided by the Misses Kay Wynn and Karen Grice, including the selections entitled, “Bacause,” '‘The Lord’s Prayer,” and the traditional wedding march. father, the bride appeared in a gown of Chantilly lace over taffeta. The bodice was fashibned with portrait neckline and brief sleeves. The skirt of ruffled net over taffeta with lace side panels was accented by a large satin bow. The fingertip veil of illusion was caught to a scalloped crown of lace studded with rhinestones: The bride carried a cascade arrangement of apricot carnations surrounding a white orchid. The matron of honor, Mrs. Jerry Miller, selected a sheath dress of apricot chiffon over taffeta. The bodice was fashioned with spagetti straps and was topped with a three-quarter length sleeved chiffon over-jacket accented with a train-like back panel. She carried an arrangement of chiffon fans with white and apricot carnations. The headdress consisted of a brief veil held in place by chiffon flowers. The bridesmaids were the Misses Virginia Mills and Marilyn Martin, who were dressed identical to the honor attendant. For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Reynolds chose a light blue sheath dress with white accessories. Mrs. Fravel, mother of the groom, selected, as her ensemble, a turquoise dress with white accessories. Consages of apricot and white roses completed their- outfits. ». Richard Allen Fravel stood as his brother’s best man with David Ellsworth and William Dersch serving as ushers. Immediately following the ceremony a reception was held in the

Fravel is a graduate of Decatur high school and Milo Bennet’s linotype school and is employed at the Decatur Daily Democrat. _ The couple will make their home at 845 Park View drive.

The Evangelical United Brethren church in Rockford, O. was the scene of a double ring wedding ceremony Saturday evening. The Rev. Charles Bradford read the vows to join in marriage Miss Elsie Irene Thatcher and Lowell Eugene Beougher. Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Delbert R. Thatcher, Rockford, 0., and Mr. and Mrs. Russel A. Beougher, Mendon, O. Beauty vases of gladioluses and candelabra decorated the altar for the candlelight ceremony. Mrs. ' Marsee carried a colonial bouquet of yellow and white carnations. The bridesmaids were Mrs. Everett Stose and Miss Gloria Cable, who were dressed identical to the honor attendant. The flowergirl, Miss Cheri Dick, niece of the bride, appeared a floor-length dress of white dotted Swiss with a round neckline and a sash and headpiece identical to those of the other i, attendants. She carried a basket of flowers and wore a pearl necklace, a gift of the bride. The ringbearer was Dana Beougher, a nephew of the groom. j The mother of the bride, Mrs. Thatcher, chose a grey and white I dress with white accesories and a corsage of pink carnations.
