Glenford Lehman was elected first vice commander and Grover Moser, Jr., was elected second vice commander. Orval Kaeser I was named adjutant and Dale i Johnson, finance officer. Paul Taylor. Marshall Reynolds and Robert Spichiger were elected trustees. Zuercher, Lehman and retiring commander Roy Gilliom were named as delegates to the state Legion convention. Reports Hub Caps Stolen From Auto Jerry Liby. route 3. Decatur, reported to the city police Wednesday evening that two spinner hub caps were stolen from his auto. The theft occurred Wednesday between 7 and 10:30 p.m. while the vehicle was parked in the McConnell parkingviot on Second St. The hub caps, which were on the front wheels, are valued at S2O.

No One Injured As Tractor Hits Auto There were no injuries recorded in an accident Monday when a tractor driven by Michael Newcomer, 17, of Geneva, struck a parked car owned by Thelma E. Liechty, 41, of 468 East Water street, Berne. Newcomer struck the car when the tractor’s steering apparatue mis-functioned. Officer Don Grove investigated the accident and estimated damage to the car at S2OO and to the tractor at $75. Societu RUTH CIRCLE MEETS RECENTLY The Ruth Circle of the Decatur E.U.B. church met recently at the home of Mrs. William Dellinger. Mrs. Gloria Simmerman, vice chairman, opened the business meeting with prayer. Reports were received from the various secretaries and a report was made by Mrs. LaVon Eley on the recent Executive Committee meeting. The lesson, “Love is a household word,” and a program on “our unity in ecumenical relations” were presented by Mrs. Janet Sautbine. The article e nti 11 e d “What is Ecumenical” and “We Have So Much In Common,” taken from “World Evangel,” were presented by Mrs. Lois Johnson. The lesson closed with prayer. Comments and highlights were then presented by Mrs. Janet Sautbine on the W.S.C.S. convention she attended June 4-6 at the Oakwood center at Ooakwood park on Lake Wawasee. The July meeting will be held at the home of Mrs. Ruth Sheets, with Miss Luella Werst as leader. Delicious refreshments were then served by the hostess. The St. Catherine’s Study club met June 11 at the home of Peggy

Sefton. The meeting was opened by reciting TKe'rosary. The roll call was answered by reading an interesting article.
