The White House said Mrs. Kennedy is giving the dinner for the President and members of the Kennedy family, and would n o t release details because of “family tradition.”

Election Expenses Filed By Candidates Four Democrats and three Republicans have filed itemized statements of their expenses incurred during the May primary election, with several more to file before the deadline. o*2 Thursday, June 6, is "the final

Lawrence Kohne, who was victorious in his bid for the Democratic councilman-at-large nomination, filed expenses amounting to $28.55. Chalmer Deßolt, unopposed for the second district council seat on the Democrat ticket, filed a statement showing $17.70 incurred. ■ ' . Clyde Drake, unopposed for fourth district councilman, filed a statement showing no expenses, as did unopposed city court judge John B. Stults. Republicans who filed were: G. D. Mac Lean, unopposed fourth district councilman, none; Clarence P. Ziner, unopposed councilman first district, none; Charles H. Stonestreet, unopposed councilman second district, $2.50.
Former Local Man . Arraigned Monday Ernest Leland Eckrote, 30, former near-Decatur resident now residing in Fort Wayne, was arraigned Monday afternoon in the Adams circuit court on charges of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Adams circuit court Judge Myles F. Parish explained Eckrote’s rights to him, and gave him further time before entering a plea to the charge of contributing. Eckrote was jailed early Saturday morning after being picked up in the 100 block of N. First street at 1:05 a.m. by city police officers. The 30-year-old man was operating an auto with three 15-year-old and two 16-year-old boys as passengers. A quantity of beer was discovered in the auto by the police. The five local juvenile boys have been referred to the Adams county juvenile court. 270 Are Enrolled At Lutheran School Tuesday’s enrollment at the Zion Lutheran vacation Bible school totaled 270, with 207 children and 63 staff members. There will be no classes Thursday because of the Memorial Day holiday. Children may still enroll any morning this week and Monday morning of next week. Hie school opens with devotions in the church at 8:30 a.m. Classes then divide into various areas with separate sections for the various age groups. Art projects, games, Bible stories, singing, etc. are scheduled throughout ilje moaning until dismissal at 11 o’clock. A refreshment treat is served each day. Any child in the community is invited to attend. Auto Is Damaged In One-Car Wreck A car operated by Lois Elaine Clutter, 30, route 3, Rockford, 0., suffered an estimated $65 damage in a one-car accident Monday at 6:40 - p. m. on the Piqua road, one and one-half miles north of Decatur. The Ohio driver was traveling southeast on the Piqua and applied the brakes of the auto when she noticed a stop sign at the intersection of county road 35. The vehicle skidded on the wet blacktop and slammed into the stop sign, breaking it off. Damage to the sign was listed at $lO. Deputy sheriff Warren Kneuss investigated. Lineman Is Killed As Pole Collapses MISHAWAKA, Ind. (UPI) -Paul V. Howland, 35, was killed Monday when a utility pole he was working on as an electrical lineman collapsed, throwing him to the ground and crushing him.
