Mt <1 m Til Monmouth Junior Merry Maids May 6, the Monmouth Junior Merry Maids met at the Monmouth school at 7:30 p.m. The meeting was called to order by Karen Kunkel, president. Janice Aumann, Carolyn Boerger, Janice Ritter, and Linda Scott led the pledges. Devotions were led by Rosemary Hirschy, and singing by Carolyn Boerger. The roll call was answered by, “A state I'd like to visit.” Sue Graves gave a lesson on health and safety, “Falls from unsafe conditions.’ Demonstrations were given by Beverly Geyer on "How to select and match material,” and Kathy Bultemeier on chocolate chip cookies. Carol Sheets gave a demonstration on handicraft. Recreation was led by Jill and Susan Fuelling.. Refreshments were served by Kathryn Kenney, Kathy Bultemeier and Karen Scherer. The next meeting will be May 20, 7:30 p.m., in the Monmouth school.
