Mrs. Agnes Wright, 6 Krick St., had as her dinner guest Friday Rev. and Mrs. Terry Smith and family of Columbus, Ohio, and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Kelly and Nan. Mrs. Jerral Blair, 67 Bella Casa, and her mother and sister, Mrs. Max Milholland and Cynthia and grEuidmother, Mrs. Homer Archbold, attended a mother and daughter banquet at the First Presbyterian church in Ossian Saturday night. Mrs. Jerral Blair also attended a tea with Mrs. Max Milholland and Cynthia at the Ossian high school Monday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Farrer Ewbank and family of Rushville were Sunday guests of their daughter, Mrs. Darrell Stearley and family, 48 Vindale Trail, it being Mrs. Steerley’s birthday. Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Wallace and daughter of Wabash were Saturday evening guests’ of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Wallace, 38 Star Lane. Dr. and Mrs. V. DeVor returned home Sunday afternoon from a 10day vacation trip which took them into Florida, Alabama, Mississippi,
jARHWHMIAi, SPEAKS HERE—The Rev. W. O. Klopfenstein, assistant professor oi Bible and theology at the Fort Wayne Bible College, is speaking nightly at the Decatur Missionary church. Services are tonight, Friday nad the closing meeting Sunday at 7 p. m. A special musical program will be presented Sunday prior to Rev. Klopfenstein’s closing message. The following musicians from the Bible College will take part: Prof. Ira Gerig, organist; Rev. and Mrs. Timothy Warner, vocalists, and Dr. Edward Augsburger, mELrimba. Gerig is associate professor of music, Warner is assistant professor in missions, and Dr. Augsburger is assistant professor of Bible. The public is invited.
Lomsana, Tennessee and Kentucky, ami report a most pleasant trip in their new travel trailer. Mr. and Mrs. Jerral Blair, 67 Bella Casa, spent Friday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Brad Blair and son Brain in Fort Wayne. They spent Saturday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max MilhollEmd and Cynthia in Ossian. Sunday, they accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Brad Blair of Fort Wayne to the lakes. Sunday evening was spent with Mr. and Mrs. Marc Blair and Stan in Ossian. The new address of Pfc. and Mrs. Ernest Hanni is: 239 South Horne St., Apt. B, Ocean Side, Calif. They both would like to hear from their friends. Marchell is the name of the 8 pound and 13 ounce girl born to Mr. tuid Mrs. Larry Bronworth, 510 Closs St„ April 30. This new arrival is the niece of Mrs. Mary Gennusa, 23 Krick St. Earl Gumm, 60 Bella Casa, spent the weekend with his mother, Mrs. Nell Gumm, and his daughter, -Deborah, in Louisville, Ky. Mrs. Earl Gumm and daughter Lisa spent the weekend in Indianapolis visiting her sister, Mrs. Ernest Ray and nieces and nephews, Ronald, Diana, Cathy, Esther, Shirley and Vicky Ray. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Earl Jones and family, 57 Vindale Trail, spent the weekend with relatives in Beckley, W. Va., and her mother, Mrs. Olga Kestner and her uncle, Roy Creed, returned to Decatur with diem. They also visited his mother, Mrs. Juanita Jones and his grandmother, Mrs. Laura Holiday in Beckley, who is over 90 years old. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bell, Sr., and Daryl of South Milford spent the weekend with their son and family Mr. and Mrs. Sam Bell, Jr., and Lisa, 59 Bella Casa. Mrs. James Herman, 71 Bella Casa, has resigned as beauty operator at the Lavender Beauty Salon here effective May 11, and it is hoped that the vacancy will soon be filled.

Two Children Die In South Bend Fire SOVTH BEND, Ind. (UPD— Two children -burned to death in their home-today and their 5-year-old sister was injured criticallyThe children were the youngsters of Mr. and Mrs. James H. Cleveland. The dead were identified as James Jr., 3, and Winona, 4. Their sister, Constance, was burned badly and was in critical condition in Memorial Hospital. Fire broke out in an upstairs bedroom from unknown causes about 9 a.m. EST, authorities said, while a neighbor who was taking care of them stepped out
