Rev. Thomas Niccoles heard the double-ring vows. The “Lord’s Prayer” was sung, and the organist. Eugene Wyckstrom, played several musical selections. The bride’s parents are Mr. and Mrs. George Engle Myers, Wren,
0.; the groom is the son of Gordon Macintosh, Chatham, Mass., and the late Mrs. Macintosh. Given in marriage by her father, the bride appeared in a gown of white satin with full, pleated skirt and train; there was a spray of lace re-embroidered down the front. The bride's flowers were white and her veil of silk illusion was held to a headband of orange blossoms. Mrs. John Hileman was her sister's matron of honor and Miss Nancy Green, Dayton, 0., was bridesmaid. The attendants word identical costumes of aqua, fullskirted silk organza over silk; short bow veils and carried white and aqua flowers. John Hileman stood as best man and Terry Turner, Dayton, 0., served as usher. Mrs. Myers chose a rose-color-ed silk shantung dress for her daughter's wedding, and wore white flowers. There was a dinner for 20, following the seremony, at Ohio University’s Baker center. A reception for 150 will be held at the Wayside Inn. Chatham, Mass., when the couple returns from the wedding trip. For her wedding trip to Florida, the .bride was wearing a light yellow wool, Italian-designed suitdress, with black accessories. The new Mrs. Myers is a junior at Ohio University, majoring in interior design. The groom, a graduate -of Northeastern. Boston, Mass., is employed by John Hancock Life Insurance company. Die couple will make their home in Chatham, Mass., on Cape Cod.
Society The Friendship village home demonstration club will meet in the St. Mary’s conservation building, Thursday at 1 p.m. The Church Mothers study club will meet with Mrs. Norman Koons, Tuesday at 8 p.m. Mrs. James Voglewede will be hostess to Our Lady of the Snow study club, Thursday at 8 p.m. The Pleasant Mills Methodist WSCS will meet Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., in the home of Mrs. Leland Ray. When the Rosary society meets this evening in the K. of C. hall, there will be a film presented, “Open-heart Surgery.” The Rosary society of the St. Mary’s church will hold its annual Marathon party at the K. of C. hall Saturday, at 7:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend. The Women of the Moose will have their regular chapter meeting Thursday, at 8 p.m. The homemaking chairman, Isabella Sheets, will be in charge of the social hour. Reports are due at this meeting on Mooseheart, child care, homemaking and publicity. The officers will meet at 7:30 p.m.

At 2:30 p. m., Sunday, in the Evangelical Mennonite church, Miss Pauline Louise Schwartz and Steven Brent Riley exchanged wedding vows. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos M. Schwartz, route 1, Berne; Mr. and Mrs. Merle Riley, route 1, Monroe, are the parents of the groom. Green ferns and candelabra decorated thg. church for the doublering ceremony. A fifteen-minute musicale preceded the ceremony, played by Gale Riley, organist; and the vocalists were Mr. and Mrs. Ed Habegger, Westerville, 0., who sang “Wedding Song,” “Whither Thou Goest.” and “Each for the Other.'’ The vows were heard by the Rev. Alvin Becker. Given in marriage by her father, the bride chose a gown of white crganzine taffeta. Embroidered Venice lace outlined the bateau neckline of the bodice, the front of which was trimmed with embroidered Venice lace, coming to a point at the front waistline and accented with a flat bow. Long sleeves tapered to points over the wrists. The chapel-length full, pleated skirt featured a redingote, edged with lace. The bride’s fingertip-length veil of silk illusion was held by a taffeta crown, trimmed with sequins and pearls, centered
at back with a flat bow. She carried a white Bible, topped with a white orchid. The matron of honor was Mrs. Richard Baumann; serving as bridesmaid was Miss Donna Habegger, cousin of the bride. The attendants wore dresses of Bermuda sea blue satin, styled street-length with scoop neck, short sleeves, and full, pleated skirts; accented at center back waist with a fabric rose. Their headpieces were a fabric rose attached to a self-covered headband, matching their dresses, and they carried bouquets of white daisies with yellow centers. Norman Riley, brother of the groom, was best man; and Bob Schwartz, brother of the bride, Larry Merriman, Floyd and Lloyd Zimmerman were ushers. The bride’s mother selected a dress of bright blue rayon and silk with black accessories for liar daughter’s wedding; a beige rayon linen dress with matching jacket and white and black patent accessories were worn by the groom’s mother. White carnation corsages were worn by both mothers. ■ ~. Following the ceremony, a reception for 250 guests was held in the church basement. The rooms were decorated in the bride's colors. The groom, a graduate of Pleasant Mills high school, is employed by the Home Dairy Products, Inc. After April 21, the couple will be at home on route 1, Monroe. Girl Scouts Troop 377 We opened the meeting with the pledge of allegiance and the Girl Scout promise. We took the dues. We discussed when we were going to camp out. We also discussed what food we will eat, clothes we will wear, and bedroll to bring. We drew to see who will be in which tent. We then got ropes for knots and we learned different ones. The meeting was adjourned. We met at the Girl Scout cabin. We took dues. We brought ropes and clothes hangers. We made firewood for rainy days. Then we made popcorn poppers.
