Friday. The mishap occurred on county road 16, three miles north and one and one-quarter miles west of Berne, The Berne lady was westbound when the auto went off the side of the road and out of control. As she attempted to pull the vehicle back onto the roadway, the car slammed into a bridge abutment. The driver was not injured. Deputy sheriff Waren Kneuss investigated. Suggestion Awards To G.E. Employes A number of General Electric Co. employes at the Decatur plant were recent suggestion award winners. Nyla Girod earned $46, while Roland A.
