Planning Conference Os Scouts Thursday The planning conference of the Anthony Wayne area council, Boy Scouts of America, will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Schust Scout center in Fort Wayne. Edger W. Wolfe, national council director of rural relationships service, will be present to lay the groundwork and give the challenge to council committees. All council operating committees will meet in individual sessions, setting the stage for council calendar for the year beginning Sept. 1. Contract Av&rded For Berne Swimming Pool The Midwestern Pool Co., Dayton,.Th. has been awarded a contract for $65,315 as low bidder on Berne’s new swimming pool in Lehman park, with work to be completed by May 31. Another $19,000 will be spent on landscaping, bathhouse equipment, parking facilities and other items.
