WOMEN OF THE MOOSE HAVE MEETING The Women of the Moose met at the Moose home recently with the senior regent in Charge of the regular meeting. Balloting was held and proved favorable for a class of candidates. Following the meeting, a social hour was held with Arloa West, child care chairman, in charge. The next meeting will be February 7 with class enrollment. Alberta Gerber, hospital chairman, will be in charge of the chapter night. Burt Townsend, with 28 members present. A delicious buffet dinner was served to the members by Mrs. Townsend and her committee. A short business meeting was conducted by the president, Mrs. Janies 'Burk, and a letter was read from a former member, Mrs. Helen Kirsch Denton of Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Bridge and canasta were played with Mrs. Herman Krueckeberg and Mrs. S. L. Everhart winning the prizes. Those assisting the hostess were Mrs. Ronald Parrish, Mrs. Robert Frisinger, Mrs. Eugene Durkin, Mrs. Robert Heller and Mrs. James Cowan. The next meeting will be in March. The Dramtic section of the Woman’s club will meet at 8 p.m. Monday with Mrs. H. R. Frey. The American Legion auxiliary juniors will have a meeting Monday afternoon at 4 o’clock in the Legion home. Miss Hess is a Decatur high school graduate. Her fiance is a graduate of Berne-French high school and is employed by the Berne Furniture company.

Miss Dedolph, who attends Decatur high school, is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dedolph, 133 Park View Dr. Mrs. Vincent Abrams, sister of Mrs. Charles Beineke, who has been visiting here for two weeks, left Tuesday for Portland, where she will visit her sister-in-law, Mrs. Amy Bickel. Mrs. Martin Zimmerman, 617 Jefferson St., has been admitted to the Parkview hospital, Fort Wayne, where she will undergo gall bladder surgery. No room has been assigned to her. V. Lehman, Geneva sophomore, has been named to the registrar’s roll of honor at Ball State Teachers College, according to Dr. Leo Hauptman, registrar of the college. To qualify for this honor, students must receive all A’s or a point ratio of 4.0. The fall quarter honor roll includes 139 undergraduate and graduate student enrolled full time at Ball State. Recovers Horses Reported Stolen Three horses, reported stolen Sunday to the sheriff's department were found Tuesday in a field of a neighbor of the owners of the horses. Dan J; Schwartz and Chris Neuenschwander had reported the horses stolen Sunday, but reported Tuesday they had been found being held by a neighbor some distance from their residences. Retail Division To Meet This Evenirig An important general membership meeting of the retail division of the Decatur Chamber of Commerce will be held this evening. The meeting will begin at 7:30 o'clock this evening, and will be held at the First State Bank. A number of 1963 promotions will be discussed and all members have been urged to attend. Sugar Ray Returns To Comeback Trail MIAMI BEACH (UPI) - Six time world champion Sugar Ray Robinson takes to the comeback trail again tonight against New Orleans’ Ralph Dupas—l6 years his junior. Robinson, 42, who never lost an amateur bout in 125 battles, and has rollled up 142 victories in 166 pro fights, says that if he wins this time, only Wilfie Greaves stands between him and middle weight champion Dick Tiger.
