Society The Jolly Housewives home demonstration club will have their annual carry-in supper and gift exchange Tuesday evening at 6 o’clock at the Pleasant Mills Methodist church. Those members not having cheer sisters will bring a $1 gift for the exchange. Each member is to bring a covered dish and table service. The Deborah circle of the Decatur E. U. B. (Trinity) church will meet Monday in the home of Mrs. James Shackley at 7:30 p.m. The leader will be Mrs. Robert Roudenbush. The Monmouth P. T. A. will have its Christmas party Tuesday Six Months Given For Non-Support r Edward Norris, a former resident of 1121 Elm St., was sentenced to six months at the Indiana state penal farm by Judge Myles F. Parrish "Wednesday afternoon. In addition to the six-months term, circuit court Judge Parrish -levied a fine of $lO and costs, amounting to S3O against Norris, I charged with failure to provide. i Norris plead guilty to the charge. ■ Norris was arrested Wednesday ■ November 28, on an affidavit signed by his wife, charging him with non-support, and was* arraigned the following day. Sheriff Roger Singleton, said this morning that Norris will be transported to the penal farm, at Pendleton, tomorrow, weather permitting. Joseph Suhr Elected Geneva Chamber Head Joseph Suhr has been elected president of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce.
