BE IT ORDAINED BY THE Common Council of the Cit. of Decatur, Indiana that It is hereby declared unlawful and a violation of this ordinance for any person, firm, or corporation to park on the following portions of the following streets in the City of Decatur, Indiana, to-wit: a. On the East side of Seventh Street from Monroe Street to Nuttman Avenue. b. On the East side of Third Street from Jefferson Street to Adama Street. c. On tne East side of Line Street from Adams Street to the Erie Railroad crossing. d On the, West side of Russell Street' from Rod Street to Winchester Street. Section 2. Any person, . firm, or corporation parking any vehicle either motorized or otherwise upon the. portion prohibited by this ordinance shall upon conviction be fined in an amount not less than Five Dollars ($5.00) nor more tharr Fifty Dollars ($50.00). Auction Graduate Exercises Friday A total of 42 Reppert school of i auctioneering students will become graduates of the world-famed school Friday noon,, when graduation exercises will be held at the Decatur Youth J and Community : Center. A luncheon will be held at 11 a.m. Friday for all students, in- | structorS, and others connected with the school, and following the luncheon, diplomas will be awarded to those graduating. Col. Q. R. Chaffee, of Towanda, ■ Pa., who serves as dean of instruc- , tion and manager of the sessions, will speak at the Friday affair, while Dr. Roland Reppert, president of the school, will present the diplomas. 14 States A total of 14 states are repre- ! sented by the 42 graduates, with ! two students from Utah the “farthest from home.” Vern H. Hough, Caysville, and , Clyde A. Larsen, North Salt Lake, ■ are the students representing the i state of Utah. The soon-to-be graduates of the 1 Reppert school will have finished 180 hours of classroom and practical instruction over a thraewbfek 'period, by Friday. -.' The world-renowned school employs more than a dozen top instructors form every part of the country Col. Chaffee is in his 26th year with the school. He replaced Col. Fred Repert, founder of the school, as dean, when Col. Reppert died in 1946. Guy L.
