Locals Mrs. Iva M. Fuller, of Lima, 0., who is recovering from a broken hip suffered in an auto accident in Fort Wayne Oct. 17, has been released from the Lutheran hospital in Fort Wayne and brought to the home of her niece, Miss Kathryn Kruffman, South First street, for convalescence Mrs. Henry Neireiter underwent surgery Thursday in the Lutheran hospital, Fort Wayne. She plans to be there at least 10 days. Her room number is 214. Mr. and Mys. Don Jones and son, Mitch, left today for a twoweek visit in Venice and Miami, Fla. Mr. and Mrs. Russell E. Swanson returned to their home in St. Petersburg, Fla., after spending the summer at their beach home on Lake Michigan. Mrs. Swanson was formerly Portia Thomas of this city and wife of the late Dr. J. J. Vega. Mr. and Mrs. J .O. Sellemeyer, of 221 Marshall street, are leaving Saturday for Fullerton, Calif., where they hope to make their home. The Sellemeyers were originally from Decatur, and lived here 36 years. They moved to southern California in 1923, and moved back to Decatur 36 years later, in April 1959. They have lived in Decatur four years, and Sellemeyer says they hope to live another 36 years in California. A member of Rotdry, and an active Qemocrat, Sellemeyer was well known as an athlete here in his early days. Girl Scouts Troop 39 Brownie troop 39 of the Southeast school held their meeting Tuesday after school. Escapes Injury In One-Car Accident - A Decatur resident escaped injury today in an early morning accident that occurred on Winchester St. extended, just outside the city limits. Eugene Pettibone, 35, 124 S. Tenth St., was traveling north and had just cleared the curve when his pick-up truck left the road on the right side, traveled 120 feet on the berm, before returning to the road and crossing
over. The vehicle then left the west edge of the roadway and hit an embankment, causing it to roll over. Pettibone explained to sheriff Roger Singleton, who investlgat-
