Misses Karen Jefferies and Carol Seitz arrived at Baer Field from Hawaii, Saturday afternoon, after a three-week vacation there and other nearby islands. Miss Townsend, who underwent spinal surgery about a week ago to correct a painful condition, has been released from the Parkview memorial hospital, and has returned to her home in the Griswold apartments in Fort Wayne. She is the daughter of Mrs. Lindy Towni send, of Decatur.

At the Adams county memorial hospital: Max and Paula Samsen Gilpin, 411 Limberlost Trail, are the parents of a baby girl bom at 1:10 p.m. Saturday. The baby weighed 6 pounds and 3% ounces.

Cleo Rex Roe, 22, Fort Wayne, paid a fine of $1 and costs, a total of $19.75, on a charge of speeding. Roe was arrested by state trooper Alan Copper at 6:50 a.m.

— —T~ Secretary McNamara Spends Night At Homa WASHINGTON (UPI) — Delmse Secretary Robert S. McNamara spent the night at his home Sunday for the first time in a week. McNamara, who has been sleeping In his Pentagon office since the Cuban crisis erupted, left about 6 p.m. Sunday for his home. His only trip home during the week was to have dinner with his family last Tuesday.
