20 Years Ago Today June 8, 1942 — Word has been received that Glen Martin. Decatur man, has been interned by the Japanese at Shanghai, China. Martin, a civilian employe of a construction company building a defense base bn Wake Island, was taken prisoner when the Japs captured the island in December ot 1941. Fifty-two Decatur Boy Scouts and 32 from Berne attended the annual Boy Scout camporee at Lehman park in Berne. Ralph W. Giffen, of Hamilton, 0., has been appointed Decatur agent for the Pennsylvaina railroad, succeeding P. R.
