The Adams county commissioners awarded contracts to the Stults Home grocery to furnish groceries and tobacco to the county infirmary patients for three months, and the bread contract, also for three months, to the Hon-E-Krust bakery in this city. Mrs. Dorothy Meyer has been named part time 4-H club agent for Adams county. The Decatur fire truck sustained only minor damage when struck by an auto while enroute to a rural fire. Severin H. Schurger, Decatur lawyer, and Democratic candidate for prosecuting attorney, has been recalled to active Army duty.
