Ambassador Llewellyn E Thompson spent slightly more than hours today with Soviet Foreign Minister Andrei Gromyko in a third meeting aimed at trying to determine Soviet intentions on Berlin. Thompson, who left the Foreign Ministry at dusk, declined to disclose to newsmen whether there had been any shift in the Soviet hard line on Berlin. The U. S. ambassador, who was making his third probing attempt, this year for the West, said he and Gromyko would meet again. But he said no date had been set. Two Men Injured In Sewer Gas Explosion MARION, Ind. <UPD—Two construction workers were in satisfactory condition at Marion General Hospital here recovering from second-degree burns suffered in a sewer gas explosion on a sewer construction site Wednesday. Hospitalized with burns on face and hands were Billy Townsend, 28. Greenfield, and Clifford Holder, 38, McCordsville.
