O— — O 20 Years Ago Today O O June 5, 1941 — The annual Adams county Boy Scout camporee will be held at Camp Quinn in Hanna-Nuttman park June 6 and 7. Gerald Cole, electric shop owner, was elected by the city council to the Decatur school board. The city council has approved of six transformers to meet increased electric power needs of the McMillen industries. The spring tax collection in Adams county totaled $266,903.26, more than half the total tax bill for the year. Dent Baltzell and Steve Longenberger have been named viewers, with Harley Ehrsam, county surveyor, for construction of a public ditch in St. Mary’s township.
