ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed bids will be received by the Hoard of Public Works & Safety of the City of Decatur, Indiana, on the complete contract work, including general construction, heating and plumbing, and electrical work required for the construction of an addition to the present fire station building until 2:00 P. M., Central Standard Daylight Time on the 4th day of May, 1961, in the City Hall at Decatur, Indiana, at which time and place all bids will be opened publicly and read aloud. Bids received after such time will be returned unopened. Bidders must submit one combined bid on all of the above classifications. Separate bids on each classification will not be considered. Proposals or bids shall be properly and completely executed on State Board of Accounts Form 96 with non-colluslon affidavit as required by statutes of Indiana, and must be accompanied by Questionaire Form 96A, State Board of Accounts, for all bids of Five Thousand Dollars (15,000.00) or more as required by law. Each bid or proposal shall be accompanied by acceptable certified or cashier's check payable to Treasurer, City of Decatur, Indiana, or an acceptable bidder's bond in amount of not less than five percent (5%) of total bid price. Successful bidders will be required to furnish properly executed performance bond with acceptable surety thereon in the amount of one hundred per cent (100%) of each contract awarded, said bond to comply in all respects with the requirements of the Statutes of Indiana governing bonds to be furnished for such contracts let bv a municipal corporation.
