You’ll find your answer in this column, which is published regularly.) 1. Q. I have a small farm and have several people working for me. How do I know which ones to report for social security purposes? A. Any agricultural employee you pay $l5O or more in cash during a calendar year must be reported. Also, any employee who works for you on at least 20 different days in the year and who is paid on a time basis, that is, by the. day, hour, week, etc., must be included, even if he is paid less than $l5O. 2. Q. Some of my men work for other farmers also. Should each of us report the same men? A. Yes. If the farm worker meets the $l5O or the 20 day test for more than one employer, each employer must report the employee’s cash wages for social security 3. Q. We have a domestic who works in our home on the form. Am I required to report her earnings? A. Yes, if her earnings meet the same test as the other farm employees, that is, if she is paid $l5O or more in cash wages or works on at least 20 days in the year for cash wages. 4. Q. How and when do I report farm wages paid in 1960? A. You must file a tax return, Form 943, with the District Director of Internal Revenue, on or before January 31, 1961.
