June Allyson, Dick Powell To Separate HOLLYWOOD (UPI)--Actress June Allyson and producer Dick Powell will seek a divorce or legal separation after 15 years of marriage. Famed Hollywood lawyer Jerry Geisler, representing the diminutive blonde movie and TV star, Thursday said, “It probably will be a divorce. We are still drawing up the settlement papers and won't be able to make a final announcement for a while yet.”. Powell, 56, and Miss Allyson, 37, were married in 1945 when she was a boxoffice favorite and he was a fading “pretty boy” crooner. Friends had known the couple had not been getting along for the past year, and announcement that they planned to separate came as no surprise. Miss Allyson wept when she talked to a UPI reporter and said “There is just nothing I can say right now.” The couple have two children, Pamela, 11, and Rickie, 8. Powell and his wife separated for a month in 1957 when they agreed that they “weren't getting along.” It was Miss Allyson’s first marriage and Powell’s third. Antonelli, Kirkland Sign Indian Pacts CLEVELAND. Ohio (UPI)--The ranks of contented Cleveland Indians doubled today when recently obtained pitcher Johnny Antonelli and outfielder Willie Kirkland agreed to terms for the 1961 season.. Earlier, first baseman Vic Power and second baseman John Temple became the first Tribesman to return signed contracts. Antonelli and Kirkland were obtained last month in an interleague swap with San Francisco Giants for Harvey Kuenn. This was the last player transaction engineered by Frank Lane before he left for Kansas City. Pro Basketball Philadelphia 139, Syracuse 127. Boston 125, Cincinnati 107. New York 104, Detroit 102.
