Frauhiger Fund Is Now Al $233 Mark The Harry Frauhiger fund has risen to a total of $233 as the community and county are rapidly responding to the needs of a deserving family. Donations have been coming in droves, especially in the past three days. Since a story In the Daily Democrat on September 28 telling of a slackening off in funds, a total of 19 donations have been received. Those 19 donations were taken in during Thursday, Friday and Saturday of the past week and totaled $lO7. Thursday/ five donations for S3B were received; Friday, eight donations worth S4B were taken in; and Saturday a total of s2l was taken in six donations. The fund was started by Mrs. Frauhiger’s graduation class, the Decatur high school class of 1935, with a SIOO donation, and since that time a total of $133 more has been raised. Bob Shraluka will take donations at the Democrat office, or they may be mailed. Checks should be made out to the Harry Frauhiger fund. Entrance was gained by breaking a window in the treasurer’s office, where the 50 cents was taken. The assessor's office was also broken into and although the office was searched, nothing was found to be taken. The sheriff's department and city police are investigating.
