Call Santa’s Helper, 3-2376. 228 6t Report Vandalism At Northwest School Vandals have been at work at the Northwest elementary school the past two nights, although no 1 damage was done. Monday night I a group of youngsters were reported as being on the roof and the school's janitor was called to the scene. The youths fled and a check of the building showed no damage. Tuesday night, however, three boys were seen marking the windows on the south side of the building. They used tallow to draw obscene pictures and write obscene language. The janitor arrived early this morning and took it all off with a razor blade. Although no actual damage has been done, the school officials weren't too happy about it and the police have been alerted and are investigating. Bicycles Inspected At Lutheran School The inspection of 30 bicycles at the Lutheran school Tuesday afternoon, ended the second day of the week-long safety check spon- | sored by the Business and Professional Women's club and conducted by local law enforcement authorities. Assisting at the Lutheran school were Miss Irene Zwick and Mrs. Francile Mclntosh, both; members of the club. The bicycle safety check continues with the Catholic school today. The check will move to the Northwest school Thursday and) the Southeast school Friday. i
