20 Years Ago Today • —■ • Aug. 10, 1940—A large, doubleL barn and its contents were destroyed by fire at the Adams county infirmary, with loss estimated at SIO,OOO. A delegation from the local Moose lodge will attend a district outing at Luken’s lake Aug. 18. Max Odle, Jack Eady and Art Heller have returned home from a week at Rome City. The 22nd annual camp meeting of the Adams county holiness association will be held at the Monroe Tabernacle Aug. 11-25.
