Mr. and Mrs. Gene Hindenlang becomes
The Pleasapt Mills Methodist church was the scene of the dou-ble-ring, candlelit ceremony which united in matrimony Miss Judith Ann Bollenbacher and Gene Max Hindenlang. The couple was married July 9 before an altar banked with beauty vases of pink gladioli and white pompoms. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bollenbacher, of route 5, Decatur. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hindenlang of route 6, Decatur. Nuptial music was presented by Carolyn Luginbill, organist, and Lynn Mefford, vocalist. Selections presented by the musicians were “Always," “I Love You Tuly,” and “Because.” “Savior Like a Shepherd Lead Us" was played as the bride and groom knelt at the altar. L * , • Kenneth Bollenbacher, father of the bride, escorted his daughter to the altar. Miss Bollenbacher was lovely in a ballerina length gown of chantilly lace and nylon chiffon. Her, lace bodice was accented with a round neckline and short sleeves. She also wore a string of pearls, a gift from the groom. Her fingertip veil of imported silk illusion was held in place by her tiny cap of lace and sequins and she carried a cascade arrangement of white carnations and ivy adorned with tiny seed pearls. The maid of honor. Miss Kay Bollenbacher, sister of the bride, was gowned in pink organza over .taffeta. The dress was featured with a pink rose sash. She also wore a pink veiled headpiece and carried pink and white carnations. Miss Beverly Butler served as bridesmaid and Miss Terry Bollenbacher, sister of the bride, as junior bridesmaid' in gowns similar to that of the honor attendant.

Miss Suzette Bollenbacher, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. For her daughter’s wedding, Mrs. Bollenbacher chose a black and white dress with which she wore white accessories. A navy blue sheath with white accessories comprised the ensemble worn by the groom's mother. Both mothers wore corsages of deep pink carnations pinned to their ensembles. Phillip Nussbaum, Jr., was best man, with Dav§ Mitchell and Bill Augsburger serving as groomsmen and Gregory Bollenbacher, brother of the bride, as ring bearer. Seating the guests were Mike McGil}, cousin of the bride, and John Spurgeon, cousin of the groom. A reception, attended by approximately 150 guests, was held immediately following the ceremony in the church basement. A color scheme of pink and white was carried out throughout the room. A four tiered wedding cake trimmed with pink roses centered the serving table, with white rosettes and pink streamers adding the finishing touches. Servers at the reception were Barbara Geisler, Pat Mary Geisler and RitaClouse. For their wedding trip to Canada the new Mrs. Hindenlang changed to a yellow cotton dress with a matching cummerbund hnd white accessories. * ■ - . The former Miss Bollenbacher is a graduate of Pleasant Mills high school and is employed by Lincoln National Life Insurance Co. in Fort Wayne. The M.Y.F. of the First Methodist chhrch will sponsor an ice cream social on the church lawn from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday. Sandwiches, pie and ice cream will be served. ! < Gardening Exhibit Won By Philip Isch Philip Isch of the French Happy Hoosiers 4-H club exhibited the grand champion gardening exhibit at the 4-H fair at Monroe. Philip is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Isch of route 1, Berne, and is in his third year of 4-H club work He is completing his third year in the garden project. Reserve grand champion honors went to Lois Jean Gerke of the Union Pals 4-H club. Lois Jean is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Benj. Gerke and is completing her ninth year in 4-H club work. Premium winners in each of the divisions are as follows: Division I—lst, Sandra ' Bransteter, Jefferson Work and Win; 2nd. Verlin Bulmahn. Berne, are the parents of a baby girl born at 9:31 a.m. today. The baby weighed seven pounds and eight ounces. Body Is Found In Wrecked Automobile BOONVILLE, Ind. (UPI) — An autopsy was scheduled for today in the death of William Nix, 78, R. R. 3, Boonville, whose body was foqnd in his wrecked auto north of here Wednesday. Nix’s car apparently went out of control on a Warrick County road and hit an embankment, but authorities said he may have died of a heart attack.
