COURT NEWS Estate Cases The schedule to determine inheritance tax in the Raymond Macklin estate was filed with reference to the county assessor. In the Daniel Cook estate, the schedule to determine inheritance tax was filed with reference to the county assessor. The final report of the Mabel Yoder estate was filed and the notice ordered Issued returnable, July 29. The order determining the value of the Inez Neiienschwander estate and the amount of tax due was filed by Daniel Back, administrator from the; Indiana department of state revenue. Receipt for payment of the inheritance tax was filed. In the Ruth Karch McKee estate, the petition for probate of foreign will was filed. The order probating the will was filed. The report of the sale of the real estate in the Fanny Dugan ’estate was filed, examined and approved. The deed was examined and approved. It was ordered delivered upon payment of the purchase price in full. The report of the sale of the personal property of the Clarence Paul Hinchman estate was filed, examined and approved. Proof of snailing to all persons interested in the matter of inheritance tax in the Clara Runyon estate was filed. The schedule was submitted finding the value of the estate to be nil. There was no inheritance tax due or payable. In the Sylvan Rupert estate, inventory No. 1 was filed, examined and approved, finding the net value of the estate to be $4,329.33. Inventory No. 1 was filed, examined and approved in the Maud Peterson estate, finding the net value of the estate to be $3,500. The final report was filed in the Rose M. Kleinhenz estate. The notice was ordered issued returnable August 5. i In the Roxie L. Stewart estate, inventory No. > was filed finding the total net value of the estate to be $3,599.65. Divorce Cases In the case of Kenneth Bieberich vs Kaye Bieberich,. the plaintiff was ordered to pay $lO a week support money, starting July 9. He was also ordered to pay the light, water and gas bills and the monthly payments on the house. The petition for custody of the child, was continued indefinitely. A complaint for divorce and affidavit of residence was filed by Norvin Thieme against his wife, Phyllis Thieme. A summons was ordered issued to the sheriff for the defendant, returnable Sept. 5. Robert Edwin Grim was ordered by the court to pay $12.50 a week, starting July 9, for supporj of Kathryn Maxine Grim. Grim was a Isa ordered to pay S2OO to the clerk for the plaintiff’s attorney fees. Motion To DisntiMF~~ ~T ' In the 10 year old case of Lawrence M. Carnes vs Phillip D. G.E. Club Election Scheduled Monday Gary Gehres, Robert McAfee and Robert Kenworthy have been nominated for president of the G.E. club. The election will be held Monday. Jerry Kohne, -Jack Eady and : Robert Bolinger have been nominated for the office of vice presi- ' dent, and Maggie White, Margaret Fruchte, and Marlene Ohler were nominated for secretary. Nominated for director were Richard Mailand, Leo Hoffman and Erna Weiland. The committee : nominating the various officers for, the 1960-61 year were Dorothy Schnepf, Jim Strickler and Bob Owens. t To Attend Workshop On Foreign Languages Miss Charlotte Vera, 318 South Third St., and Mrs. Agnes Yager, 324 South First St., both of Decatur, have registered for a slx-day foreign language workshop planned Aug. 21-26 at the Columbus high school. The workshop, which will include a special demonstration of modern techniques in teaching foreign languages, is co-sponsored by the state department of public instruction and the Indiana University office of coordinator for school foreign languages. Miss Vera teaches Latin and French at Decatur high school, and Mrs. Yager is a German and Latin teacher at Monmouth high school. Dies From Injuries Received Crash OAKLAND CITY, Ind. (UP!)— Hezzie Z. Ford, Indianapolis, died in Oakland City Hospital late Friday of injuries received about three hours earlier in a single car crash. State police said a car driven by Clarence Ford. 65, Indianapolis, the victim’s brother, left Ind. 57 north of Washington and Ford fell from the rear seat to the ground. Religious Pilgrims Killed In Accident NEW DELHI (UPD — Twentyfive religious pilgrims riding atop a crowded train coach were killed Friday when the train went under a low overhead near Mathura, a report reaching here today said. Twenty three others were said to be injured in the accident which took place 80 miles south of here.
