Showers Usher In Summer In Indiana United Press International ■ Hoosiers ushered in summer today amid showers that were heavy in some areas. Summer arrived officially at 4:43 a m. while rain pelted Indianapolis with precipitation that to-| tnled 141 inches and other areas with less. While South Bend and Fort Wayne had only a trace of rain; up to 7 a m. and Evansville goj only .04 of an inch, forecasts called for occasional rain today, becoming heavier with some thunderstorms developing tonight and Wednesday. Temperatures ranged from 74 at Fort Wayne to 88 at Evansville at high points Monday, dropping to a range between 58 at Indianapolis and Fort Wayne and 70 at Evansville during the night. Today’s and Wednesday's highs will range from near 70 to the lower 80s, tonight's lows from the lower to upper 60s. The outlook for Thursday was partly cloudy and a little cooler. Kokomo Man Dies Os Wreck Injuries KOKOMO, Ind. <UPD - Albert N. jStuffle, 33, Kokomo, died Monday in St. Joseph Hospital here from injuries he suffered in a twocar crash last weekend. The driver of the second car, Robert D. Bryant, 24, Kokomo, was charged with running a stop sign, driving without a license and driving with an improper license plate.
