Berne Native Named School Principal Ralph McClain, a native of Berne, has been named principal of the James H. Smart school in Fort Wayne for the next school year. He was principal of the South Wayne school during the past year. Sing Bee Sunday At Greenbrier Church A sing bee will be held at the Greenbrier U.B. church. Sunday, with the Rev. Herbert Zuercher of the Van Wert Nazarene church as leader. This will be the 133rd service of the church, which is located four miles east of Willshire og route 81. and twtf mfles north. Everyone is welcome to attend. MS Balloon Sale Nets $265.11 Here The balloon sale in Adams county netted a total of $265 11 for the multiple sclerosis drive. Berne gained a total of $108.92. Decatur made $93.06 and Geneva people contributed $63.13. The cannisters, which are located in various stores in the county, will remain there until after Father’s day. Pink envelopes in which contributions are made may be picked up at 104 N. Fifth street in Decatur. A full report on the cannisters is expected to be released next week. Accident Injuries Are Fatal To Youtfi EVANSVILLE, Ind. (UPD— Chares R. Cole. 18, Loogootee, died in St. Mary’s Hospital here Tuesday of injuries sustained May 26 when his auto ran off U.S. 231 north of Loogootee. Funeral services will be Thursday.
