beige wool coat: a gold medal, second place, to Margaret Boerger. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Boerger, modeling her avacado green wool suit with a green plaid overblouse. The first place trophy was then presented to Miss Marcille Buuck, who looked lovely in her moss green check woolen dress and coat, with toast accessories. Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Buuck are the parents of the trophy winner. Jim Fuhrman, Dan Bleberich, Dave Caston, and Jim Thieme served as escorts during the dress revue. MRS. E. M. WEBB TO PRESENT PIANO PUPILS Mrs. E. M. Webb, piano teacher affiliated with the Decatur Music House, will present her pupils in recital Friday evening at 7:30 o’clock. at the Decatur Youth and Community Center. Early and late classic, romantic and modern selections of much variety will be rendered by pupils from pre-school to advanced high school level of development. Several of the pupils will be entered in the national auditions in Fort Wayne, June 16. The following pupils plan to appear in recital: James and David Spiegel, Sandra and Susan Singleton, Farrel, Leon and Ronald Habegger. Terry Atkinson, David Whitenack, Rita Spence, and Darlene Fawbush; including pupils from Berne and Willshire. GOING-AWAY PARTY FOR MISS ROSIA FLORA A surprise going-away party was held recently at the home of Kay Wynn for Miss Rosia Flora, who will leave for Gale Institute, Minneapolis, Minn., June 8. Upon her arrival, Miss Flora was presented with a corsage. The evening was spent in taking pictures and discussing school plans for the coming year. Gifts were presented by the Misses Kay Stoppenhagen, Marie Barlett, Eleanor Miller, Becky Dickerson, Connie Kiess, Elaine Cochran, Nancy Helm, Janice Heemstra, Loretta Wass, Lois Jean Gerke, and the hostess. At the close of the evening, refreshments were served to the girls.
