However, if the California boy wonder in not a millionaire, it ia quite cartain that he has a rather goodly number of millionaire frienda. Look around. Along the state highways, on TV, in hundreds of newspaper ads, in your personal mail, everywhere — are paid political advertisements about poor Dicky. How are there advertisements being paid for? is it the same infamous committee of 100 (big buaineas groups interested in government influence) that caused the scandal 8 years ago? For a poor man, Nixon b certainly spending a lot of money. The Republicans are doing everything they can to give Nixon a bigger vote than Kennedy in Indiana. Remember that when you vote Tuesday. There are five candidates for the presidency on the ballots here, two Republicans and three Democrats. The Republican opposing Nixon is an Indianapolis Negro. Lars Daly, one of the Democrats, campaigns in an Uncle Sam suit, and has a three-point program, the first point of which is “build a home bomb shelter.” The second candidate is a segregationist who wants only the votes of white people and Indians, John Latham. The third, of course, is Kennedy.
