The entire class will be arrayed in white gowns ’and caps with green and white tassels. Something new has 3n added to the tassels—a nargold bank with the letters 60 attached. —P.M.H.S.— Last Friday after school a track meet was scheduled at Pleasant Mills. The competing schools which placed were Adams Central: Geneva and Pleasant Mills, tied, Bryant: Hartford, and Monmouth. Monday a meet was held at Berne in which the following teams placed: Adams Central. Geneva, Berne, and Pleasant MiHs. —P.M.H.S.— Four track boys from P.M.H.S. won the half-mile relay last Friday. The time was 1.40.4 which, is one tenth of a second off of the county record, 1.40.3. They were Dwight Brunner, Mike McGill, Jerry Smith, and Roy Ehrsam. Keep up the good work, boys! —P.M.H.S.— The 9th and 10th grade girls physical education classes are taking lessons in archery. The equipment has been borrowed from, the Decatur public school. —P.M.H.S.-— The high school choir under the direction of Mrs. Paul Temple sang at the Geneva United Bsethren church Sunday evening. Afterwards a party was given at the home of Mrs. Temple, for the students and their parents. —P.M.H.S.— Intelligence tests were given to the high school students Tuesday

May 4, the seniors will have their senior supper at the Hobby Ranch House in Fort Wayne. Entertainment will be given by members of the class. Also each class member is responsible for a guest. Everyone meet at the school at 6 p.m. —P.M.H.S.— The alumni banquet will be held May 7. This night will be a very memorable event, which will honor the senior graduates. Everyone plan to attend! —P.M.H.S.— The sophomore class is having a class party at the CCC camp at Bluffton May 6 after school. They ere looking forward to this event with great anticipation. Have fun, kids! —P.M.H.S.— Hurrah! Hurrah! Finally the great day has come for the seniors of P.M.H.S. May 8 and 9 the baccalaureate and commencement exercises will be held in the school gym. Dance May 15 To Aid In Pay For Surgery r* A benefit dance May 15 at the Hoagland Hayloft will help pro* vide funds for the heart operatic* on little three-year-old Robyn Elisa Scherer, of route 2. Monroeville. A group of neighbors dreamed up the idea to hold the benefit dance to defray the hospital and operating costs for little Robyn. Ed Bullerman. of the Hayloft is donating the space and the Hayloft Five are donating their services as musicians. Donations of SI will be taken at the door for the special event. Merle Lybarger. president of the Hoagland First State Bank. Ls also accepting mail contributions for the costly operation. The operation, to be performed in a Fort Wayne hospital, is similar to the one Debbie Seitz had undergone last summer. The Scherer family are members at the St. Peter's Lutheran church at Fuelling. The dance will start at 9 p.m. May 15.
