In addition, patient* may be in* eluded even though they have interested relatives, if the patient hat a nerd which can be met by a particular adopter. Needs of a patient may include such ordinary things a* receiving letters, having a visitor, being remembered on hi* birthday or special occasions, or occasionally receiving a package of his favorite candy. Each patient will be selected for this program by his attending physician. There are 2.500 “forgotten patients'* in Indiana's state hospitals.
