Plans and specifications have been approved, but no further action has been taken by the local council. The sewage problem was a big issue in the last city election in Berne. The board advised the city that construction should be activated without further delay, or the matter would be referred to the board with the recommendation that a hearing be scheduled to consider the pollution of the Peter Habegger ditch, and tributaries thereto.
