BERTRAND RUSSELL— British philosopher-mathema-tician Bertrand Rusaell has won the 1960 Sonnlng Prize for his contributions to European culture. Russell is 87 years old. Prayer Vigil Opens Saturday Morning The proper vigil at the Methodist church, which begins Saturday morning and closes 24 hours later, will be followed by a preaching mission. Preaching services will be held Sunday mornings at 10:20 and each evening at 7:30. except Saturday, from Feb. 28 to March 6. Don Gerig and Mrs. Edgar Gerber will have charge of the music, and the pastor of the church, the Rev. Hazen Sparks, will do the preaching. The theme for the mission is "Our Faith” and each sermon wilFdeal with some phase of the Christian faith.
