The triumph snapped a six-game ; losing streak and enabled the Spartans to move out of the celler I in the county standings with a 2-12 ! record for the season. [ Pleasant Mills was out in front at all resting points, 12-5. 32-22 and 42-33 Dwight Brunner topped the Spartans with 20 points, Jack Butler added 17 and Mel Ohler 14. The championship tilt will be held at 7 p.m. at Adams Central. , I Season tickets for the county tourney are now on sale at all participating schools, priced at $2 each for the four-session event. .Single session tickets, priced at 75 cents, will be on sales only at the Adams Central gj m prior *o each session. Admission to the second team tourney games at Berne tonight and Tuesday will be 25 cents tier session. - —oOo— Trophies will be presented to the championship teams of both tour-, neys by the Decatur Daily Democrat. This office will also present the junior high championship trophy to the winner of that tourney, which will be held the week following the sectional. The Limberlost bell, now held by Adams Central, will also go to the tourney champion. The Decatur Yellow Jacket, will entertain the Auburn Red Devils at the Decatur gym Friday night. It will be a battle to move out of the Northeastern Indiana conference cellar, as Auburn has lost all three of its loop games, and the Jackets have dropped their first four NEIC tilts. The Jackets’ game with Huntington, originally scheduled last spring for Saturday night, has been changed to Saturday.
