Workers Guests Os Decatur Industries The annual Christmas party of the Decatur Industries Inc., entertained about 200 persons at the Decatur Youth and Community C nter Friday evening. Sponsored by the management of the firm, the party included a ham dinner with entertainment from the local schools. Ron Gerber, production contol manager, served as master of ceremonies, introducing the Red Birds from Pleasant Mills and Terry Dillinger. Noah Steury, president of the firm, addressed the group briefly, announcing that a bonus would be paid this year and individual gifts presented to all employes. Norm Steury, secretary of the firm and program chairman, introduced his father. The elder Steury then showed a short him of his trip to Switzerland. Reuben Steury, millroom foreman, and Roy Schwartz, finish foreman, both gave short speeches, thanking the shop personnel for their splendid cooperation. The firm is now 15 years old and has progressively expanded until it built a new factory on 13th street, which will be ready for use after the first of the year. Mishawaka Plant Is Destroyed By Fire MISHAWAKA, Ind. (UPD—Officials today probed the ashes of the Sevar Wood Products Co., two miles north of here, ni an attempt to discover cause of a blaze which destroyed the plant late Saturday. Damage was estimated at more than $50,000. Witnesses said-< the blaze started with what sounded like an explosion.
