Eggs and dairy products also are plentiful and budget priced. Vegetable bins offer an excellent variety of items, too. These include such old standbys ds potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions and carrots. Also cauliflower, lettuce celery, sweet com, rutabaga turnips, squash and green peppers. Many markets are also featuring radishes, bunched greens, and avocadoes. In the fruit section you’ll find plenty of apples, oranges, grapefruit and tangerines favorably tagged, along with "cleared” cranberries, and winter pears. Fish plentifbls right now include shrimp, fish sticks, and canned tuna.
